About Us

PainWorth began with a horrific traffic accident and the resulting frustration around the legal services industry.

In January, 2019, I was hit by a drunk driver who fled the scene of the accident. The good news was that the defendant driver was caught but the bad news was that the driver left me severely injured and with permanent damages that will last a lifetime.

As a result, I ended up with a legal case and a claim for damages. I did what most people do and sought out legal representation. It should have been a straight-forward and pain-free process, but it wasn't. I quickly learned how the legal services industry is fundamentally broken, expensive, restrictive, slow and overall dysfunctional which left me frustrated and hurt.

My co-founders and I started this passion project to help other people and fix the fundamental problems we saw. We use data science and make the information accessible to everyone in order to increase accessibility of justice for everyone.
